Measurement Unit

We are learning to measure in both centimenters (cm) and inches (in) using a meter stick and yard stick, and rulers, of course.

This is the poster we use for capacity conversions. We use a little story to help us. It goes like this:

The Kingdom of Gallon

Once upon a time, there lived a king named King Gallon. He had four Queens (quarts). They each had twin Princesses (pints). Each Princess had twin Children (cups) that were 8 years old (ounces -oz). They all lived happily ever after.
